Speedway & Allsup’s Enhance ATM Services

ENON, Ohio and CLOVIS, N.M. — Speedway LLC and Allsup’s Convenience Stores are enhancing their ATM services.

Starting in Wisconsin, Speedway customers in the Milwaukee metro area now have access to surcharge-free ATMs at more than 60 BMO Harris Bank-branded ATMs following the extended partnership of BMO Harris Bank and Cardtronics.

As part of the partnership, Speedway customers will also have access to surcharge-free ATMs at locations in Chicagoland, Northwest Indiana, and Naples, Fla.

"BMO Harris Bank values the 15-year partnership with Cardtronics, which helps make ATM access both fee-free and convenient for all BMO Harris Bank customers," said Kyle Barnett, head of North American physical and U.S. channels, BMO Harris Bank. "Adding Speedway … stores in our network will grow our ATM footprint giving our customers greater access and options."

Cardtronics is the largest ATM owner/operator and provider of ATM services to Speedway c-stores.

"Our expanding relationship with BMO Harris Bank is illustrative of the fact that ATMs are critical to today's customer service infrastructure, serving as the key cash access touch-point for banks undergoing a digital evolution," said Brian Bailey, executive vice president and managing director, Global Financial Institutions, Cardtronics. "As branch infrastructure becomes more costly to manage and maintain, Cardtronics ATMs, and our top-tier retailer relationships, become increasingly valuable to growth-oriented financial institutions."

Moving southwest to New Mexico, Allsup’s is also growing its ATM fleet by naming Cardtronics its exclusive provider of ATM services.

The newly formed partnership will add more than 300 ATMs located in Allsup’s c-stores in 160 cities to Cardtronics’ portfolio. ATM installment rollout in Allsup’s c-stores is expected to be completed in early spring.

"Loyalty and collaboration are core to our business at Cardtronics. In our new role as Allsup's exclusive ATM services provider, Cardtronics will exhibit those characteristics through a partnership approach, focused on using our ATMs to drive point-of-sale spend for Allsup's convenience stores,” commented Cardtronics Chief Commercial Officer Jonathan Simpson-Dent.

Based in Clovis, Allsup’s operates more than 300 c-stores in New Mexico, West Texas and Oklahoma.
