Spinx Inks Deal to Outsource HR Processes

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The Spinx Co. has tapped PeopleMatter to handle its human resources processes.

As a result of its partnership with PeopleMatter HIRE and PeopleMatter LEARN, the convenience store operator will move its current HR system to PeopleMatter to help automate and streamline the human resources processes for its 66 locations and more than 700 employees in the Carolinas.

Spinks started the c-store company as Spinx Oil Co. in 1972. The majority of its stores are in South Carolina. Spinks will be inducted into the Convenience Store News Hall of Fame Nov. 14 with a gala at the Westin Poinsett Greenville in Greenville.

PeopleMatter is a talent management solutions company based in Charleston, S.C. It specializes in the convenience store, foodservice, retail and hospitality industries.
