Sunoco, Cardtronics Renew ATM Services Agreement

DALLAS — Sunoco Inc. inked a long-term extension of its ATM services agreement with Cardtronics Inc.

Houston-based Cardtronics currently owns approximately 700 ATMs for Sunoco Inc. in 15 Eastern states, which primarily operate under the APlus banner. These APlus locations are covered under Allpoint Network, Cardtronics’ surcharge-free ATM network.

“Renewals speak to positive business relationships, which Sunoco and Cardtronics have shared for many years,” said David Dove, president of the North American Business Group for Cardtronics. “As we have in the past, Cardtronics will continue providing the valuable service of convenience cash access to APlus customers and driving foot traffic in the process.”

Cardtronics is the world’s largest ATM owner and operator.

Dallas-based Sunoco Inc. is a division of Energy Transfer Partners LP and markets motor fuels through more than 4,800 Sunoco-branded gas store locations. Sunoco Inc. is expected to become a Sunoco LP division within the next two years.
