Tedeschi Enters Plymouth, N.H., With Six-Store Deal

ROCKLAND, Mass. -- Tedeschi Food Shops is now open for business in Plymouth, N.H. The move comes as a result of the family-owned and -operated convenience store chain's acquisition of six Munce's Konvenience Stores.

All six newly acquired locations are in central New Hampshire, including two in Plymouth. Those convenience stores are located at 33 S. Main St. and 494 Tenney Mountain Highway, according to Tedeschi. The Main Street location, adjacent to Plymouth State College, is currently open. The store at Tenney Mountain is slated to open in mid-February once the interior update has been completed.

The recent deal also gave Tedeschi a foothold in Warren, N.H. The c-store there is located at 349 Route 25. These are the first stores Tedeschi has operated in the two New Hampshire towns.

The c-store company has updated all six locations, making their interiors brighter and more conducive to shopping. In addition to a wide variety of beverages, snacks and groceries, these stores now feature an extensive selection of salads, freshly made sandwiches, subs, healthy wraps, and wholesome snacks that are prepared by Tedeschi Fresh Foods, the company's proprietary commissary. Freshly brewed hot and iced coffee is also available.

Tedeschi operates 190 convenience stores throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Connecticut. Adding the Munce's locations to its portfolio stores gives the company 20 locations in New Hampshire.
