Thorntons Debuts Summer 'Swipestakes' for Rewards Members

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Now through Aug. 4, Thorntons Inc. is inviting its Refreshing Rewards loyalty program members to enter its "Super Chill Swipestakes" for the chance to win a variety of prizes.  

The “swipestakes” is comprised of two key elements: “Collect & Win” and weekly prizes.

Customers who swipe their registered Refreshing Rewards loyalty card will be automatically entered for a chance to win one of thousands of “super chill prizes,” including theme park passes, music festival tickets and more.

The Collect & Win portion gives Refreshing Rewards members the chance to win one of six grand-prize packages. Every time members enter the promotion, they will receive a digital game piece that can be collected and managed through Thorntons' Refreshing Rewards mobile app, or online at www.superchillswipestakes.com. The member who collects four game pieces in one category will win the grand prize for that category.

Members also have the chance to win weekly prizes including grills, Bluetooth speakers, coolers, in-store merchandise and more.

Customers interested in joining Refreshing Rewards can register for a card in-store, through Thorntons Refreshing Rewards mobile app available in the App Store and Google Play, or online at www.refreshingrewards.com.

Ohio residents who wish to enter the swipestakes will need to enter the promotion online.

Louisville-based Thorntons operates 181 convenience stores in Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee and Florida.
