Thorntons Reopens Redesigned Store
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Thorntons today held the grand reopening of its existing convenience store at 4154 Bardstown Road here, bringing the total number of stores the chain operates to 161, throughout Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, Tennessee and Ohio.
According to the company, the redesigned store features a clean and friendly environment with high-quality foods, such as fresh sandwiches, salads, fruit and more. The new look places a greater focus on fresh food, fountain drinks and hot beverages and includes Thorntons' innovative roller grill bar design featuring "hot off the grill" items including hot dogs, corndogs, and more.
In addition to a large variety of hot, cold, and frozen beverages that are made with 100-percent filtered water, the new Thorntons also carries top-quality products at grocery store sizes, with competitive prices.
The grand re-opening celebration will include many promotions over the first 30 days, including free 32-ounce fountain drinks, free 20-ounce coffee, as well as many buy one, get one free specials. Beginning Saturday, Sept. 4, there will be several door-buster giveaways which include free RedBox DVD rental coupons, Thorntons coffee mugs and more.
This new store also is the 10th Thorntons in the Louisville area to offer environmentally friendly E-85 Flex Fuel. Thorntons has 20 locations throughout the company with E-85 Flex Fuel and plans to expand this product to additional stores in the future.
