Tiger Fuel Launches Digital Strategy
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — Tiger Fuel Co. launched a new website and mobile app for its The Markets store brand through a partnership with OpenStore by GasBuddy. The Markets can now reward, promote, communicate and engage customers through this digital strategy.
"The Markets of Tiger Fuel Co. is thrilled to launch our new mobile app and website developed by OpenStore," said Gordon Sutton, Tiger Fuel district manager. "We have a pretty established social media presence, but this platform is really going to take us to the next level in terms of integrating our Return and Earn Loyalty Program and enabling us to better communicate with our customers via the mobile app."
Through the app, The Markets can send in-store deals directly to customers and promote its popular $1.99 gas sales. It can also showcase gourmet brands and engage customers through the interactive game "Hoo's on First," which is inspired by a local sports team. Players are rewarded with credits and exclusive coupons that can be redeemed in stores.
"In today's digital world, customers expect to interact with brands using technology," said Jason Toews, co-founder and CEO of OpenStore. "Using OpenStore, Tiger Fuel is able to provide customers with a targeted digital experience to increase customer loyalty and drive traffic into stores."
Gaithersburg, Md.-based OpenStore is a digital marketing solution designed to help convenience store owners and managers concentrate on reaching and rewarding their customers instead of building and maintaining IT systems.
Charlottesville-based Tiger Fuel Co. owns and operates seven The Markets convenience stores and gas stations.
