TravelCenters Acquires Stop-A-Sec Stores

WESTLAKE, Ohio — TravelCenters of America LLC (TA) on Wednesday completed its acquisition of seven convenience stores formerly operated under the Stop-A-Sec brand in western Wisconsin.

One additional store could be acquired if the seller satisfies certain closing conditions, according to TA.

TA has already begun to operate the seven convenience stores, which will all be rebranded as Minit Mart c-stores. All seven stores will undergo improvements in the coming months.

Westlake-based TravelCenters of America is a travel center retailer with 252 locations in 43 states and Canada operating under the TA and Petro Stopping Center brands. It also operates convenience stores and gas stations primarily under the Minit Mart brand.
