TravelCenters of America No. 10 in Hot 100 Retailer List

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The National Retail Federation released findings from the third annual 2008 Hot 100 Retailer List, with TravelCenters of America making the top ten.

To be eligible, every company was required to be publicly traded and have reported more than $100 million in sales. The list will be officially published in the August issue of STORES magazine.

"Regardless of merchandise selection or customer base, the fastest-growing retailers know who they are and what their shoppers want," Rick Gallagher, STORES publisher, said in a statement. "Retailers of all sizes have something to learn from the ingenuity and perseverance of this year's Hot 100 Retailers."

Along with TravelCenters of America, Susser Holdings, which launched the Stripes convenience store chain in 2006 and bought Town & Country Food Stores last year; Casey's General Stores; and The Pantry, were among the top 100 retailers.
