TravelCenters of America Opens New Petro Stopping Center

WESTLAKE, Ohio -- TravelCenters of America LLC (TA) opened a new full-service Petro Stopping Center in Raphine, Va. The new stop -- the 66th Petro site to open -- features a variety of one-stop amenities and is located at Exit 205 off Intestates 64 and 81 at 2440 Raphine Rd., the former location of White's Truckstop.

"It’s great to be opening this site and providing drivers another full-service travel center on the highway," said Tom O'Brien, president and CEO of TA. "This location provides motorists a stopping point on I-81 and I-64 in southwest Virginia, where they can enjoy a hot meal, plenty of parking, shopping and a full range of other amenities. Petro is consistently 'voted best' in travel center surveys; we're happy to be able to deliver more of what drivers want in Raphine."

The new stop is a large, high-traffic facility, according to the company, and offers accommodations such as:

• Two-hundred fifty truck parking spaces
• Sixteen fueling lanes
• Eleven private showers
• A 175-seat Iron Skillet Restaurant
• A Petro:Lube with six service ba7ys
• A fully stocked 5,300-square-foot travel store
• CAT Truck Scales and a truck wash
• Driver's lounge, TV/movie room and video arcade
• Laundry facilities
• WiFi, ATM, check cashing, copying and faxing

Petro Stopping Centers' goal is to offer drivers "the full-service advantage," meeting all of their needs in one stop and getting them back on the road quickly, the company said. More information can be found at petrotruckstops.com.
