Ukrop's & Uppy's Launch Fuel Savings Program
RICHMOND -- In an effort to lessen the punch at the pumps, Ukrop's Super Markets Inc. and Uppy's Convenience Stores have partnered to provide residents with discounts on fuel purchases at participating gas stations.
During a joint news conference Friday, representatives from the companies unveiled the specifics of the new customer loyalty program that goes into effect on today. The fuelperks! campaign will include price reductions at 14 area gas stations, a number that is estimated to grow significantly before the summer season concludes.
Customers will receive a discount of 10 cents per gallon of fuel for every $50 of groceries they buy at any Richmond-region Ukrop's location or Joe's Market. The fuelperks! discount is valid for one use, up to 20 gallons. After customers redeem their rewards, they start earning a new discount based on their qualifying grocery purchases.
