United Oil Expands GSTV Pact

LOS ANGELES -- Gas station and convenience store operator United Oil has signed an agreement with Gas Station TV (GSTV) to install its forecourt media program at 17 more locations.

Once the deal is complete, GSTV will appear at the pump at 117 United Oil locations in southern California.

"GSTV has been a great partner and I look forward to expanding our relationship with them," said Jeff Appel, vice president and chief financial officer for United Oil. "We were one of the first gas retailers to deploy GSTV back in 2007, and now I won't open a gas station that isn't equipped with the network."

United Oil is an authorized distributor of Shell, 76 and Valero fuels at its convenience stores and gas stations.

"Having a long-term partner such as United Oil … speaks volumes about the quality and relevance of GSTV," said David Leider, CEO of GSTV. "Relationships like the one we have with United Oil don't happen by chance."

GSTV reaches more than 37 million viewers monthly, featuring content from CNN, ESPN, Bloomberg TV and more.
