Valero to Add New Customer Services

SAN ANTONIO -- Valero Energy Corp. and TIO Networks Corp., a leading automated bill payment and financial services network, are rolling out self-serve automated bill payment and financial services kiosks at more than 30 of Valero's Diamond Shamrock Corner Stores in the greater Denver area.

By the end of June, Valero's Denver-area customers will be able to enjoy the benefits of convenient and secure access to bill payment services by using TIO Network's "cash accepting" touchscreen ATMs to make time-sensitive payments to wireless, utility and cable service providers. The service will be available in English and Spanish, and there will be a small fee for each transaction. Customers can either receive a paper receipt at the time of the transaction or request that a digital receipt be sent by e-mail.

Valero and TIO Networks plan to add a number of other financial services to the self-service TIO terminals including the ability to purchase money orders, and other prepaid products and services.

Valero is one of the nation's largest retail operators with more than 5,000 retail and branded wholesale outlets in the United States, Canada and the Caribbean under various brand names including Valero, Diamond Shamrock, Shamrock, Ultramar and Beacon.
