VERC Enterprises Begins Conversion to Gulf

08/08/2008
DUXBURY, Mass. -- VERC Enterprises converted its Raynham Exxon location at 1023 Broadway here to a Gulf-branded station, a brand from Gulf Oil LP, headquartered in Newton, Mass.

"On average, the cost of Gulf gasoline is less than that of Exxon, translating into a savings to customers," Leo Vercollone, CEO of VERC Enterprises, said in a statement. "As a company we constantly strive to give our customer a better cost value for gasoline, and we are pleased to announce that we had the opportunity to switch over to the Gulf brand, which is the second leading market share brand in Massachusetts."

While VERC Enterprises also operates locations under the Mobil brand, Vercollone noted that other locations undergoing the change from Exxon to Gulf are stores in Westford, Kingston, Lynnfield, Duxbury, Nobscot (Framingham), Neponset, Berlin, Danvers, Boxboro, Stoughton, Plymouth, Nashua, and Allston.
