VERC Enterprises Extends Bottled Water Giveaway

DUXBURY, Mass. -- Based on the positive feedback its bottled water giveaway received in June, VERC Enterprises, a convenience store chain and Mobil and Gulf gasoline station operator, has decided to extend the promotion by another month.

The operator of 23 c-stores in eastern Massachusetts and New Hampshire is giving away free half-liter bottles of Nestle Pure Life water to customers making any gasoline purchase through July 31. The program initially ran in June only.

"We recognize the impact the price of gas has on many of our customers, so we decided to provide a small premium to help cool people down," said Leo Vercollone, president of VERC Enterprises. "We understand how tough times have been and want to do our small part in keeping our gas customers hydrated during their busy day."
