VERC Enterprises Named Fast Grower

DUXBURY, Mass. -- VERC Enterprises, a 20-location convenience store chain in the Boston-metro area and southern New Hampshire, was named one of the region's fastest growing private companies by the Boston Business Journal.

"It is an honor to be selected for this prestigious list and to be among so many other highly successful businesses," Leo Vercollone, president and CEO of VERC Enterprises, said in a written statement. "We are proud of our constant and continued growth over the years and look forward to many more to come."

Along with the distinction, the company will be among 60 other businesses honored during an April 13 event at the Park Plaza hotel in Boston. The event will also feature a panel of business executives who will share their strategies for managing a thriving growth company.

The list of fastest-growing private companies is the first for the newspaper, and will be published in a special supplement to the Journal that will be released at the event. Vercollone and VERC are featured in a special CSNews market report on the Boston area in its April 16 issue.
