VP Racing Fuels Scores More Sponsorships

ELMENDORF, Texas — VP Racing Fuels Inc. signed a host of new sponsorship deals, all set to begin this racing season.

The most recent agreement between ProMedia Events and VP Racing Fuels was announced Thursday. VP will be the official fuel of the National Muscle Car Association (NMCA) Flowmaster Muscle Car Nationals Series and the required spec fuel for most NMCA head's up classes. This deal is effective as of the March 20 season-opening event in Bradenton, Fla., and continues through the 2017 racing season.

"This partnership with NMCA is a testament to VP’s continued support of Sportsman racers,” said Alan Cerwick, president of VP Racing Fuels. “For 40 years, VP’s fuels have earned a reputation for consistency and maximizing power, while providing the best protection for high-performance drag racing engines. We look forward to a long and productive relationship with NMCA racers, fans and the entire ProMedia family.”

VP struck another deal with ProMedia Events whereby it will be the official fuel of the National Mustang Racers Association (NMRA) Keystone Automotive Ford Nationals Series and the required spec fuel for all NMRA head's up classes. This agreement likewise begins with the 2015 racing season and culminates in 2017.

Elmendorf-based VP Racing Fuels also will be the exclusive fuel supplier for Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires beginning this year. The four-year alliance will see VP Racing Fuels' support expand to the Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires, and the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda in 2016.

In addition, VP Racing Fuels extended its partnership with the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) as the official fuel supplier and a proud partner of IMSA and the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship. The 2015 TUDOR Championship season opens at Daytona International Speedway with the 53rd Rolex 24 at Daytona on Jan. 24.

“We’re proud and honored to continue as the official fuel supplier for the preeminent sports car racing series in North America,” said Cerwick. “We look at this extension as a tribute to the hard work and dedication of VP’s employees who delivered exemplary products and service during the TUDOR Championship’s inaugural season. As VP continues to evolve into a consumer brand, the TUDOR Championship and IMSA’s other series will play an increasingly important role in our marketing and growth strategy."

As part of a retail branding program, gas stations and convenience stores across the United States are being branded as VP Racing Fuels, with each providing distribution for VP’s other product lines including ethanol-free VP Small Engine Fuels, formulated for 2- and 4-cycle outdoor power equipment; VP Madditive performance chemicals; and VP/PowerMaster hobby fuels for R/C Racing.
