VPS Convenience Store Group to Launch POP Program

CLEARWATER, Fla. -- VPS Convenience Store Group (VPS), an operator of 400 stores in North and South Carolina, Indiana and Ohio, selected GSP Marketing Technologies (GSP) to manage and produce the point-of-purchase (POP) program for the VPS Convenience Store Group retail brands: Young's, Li'l Cricket, Scotchman and Village Pantry.

"We anticipate a prosperous relationship with GSP," said a representative from VPS Convenience Store Group in a released statement. "Our interest lies in effective campaigning methodology and we believe GSP is ideal for our goals."

In addition to POP management, GSP completed a full store survey to provide accurate information on store-level assets to VPS. The vendor will manage the full POP program from creative conception to full service fulfillment, helping achieve the long and short term goals of VPS Convenience Store Group's marketing plan. GSP will utilize their proprietary software, POPManager to ensure VPS stores receive only the signage they need, reducing overall costs and eliminating waste, the vendor reported.

"Combining the knowledge of what's at each store, with the ability to lower overall costs with GSP's POPManager, we stand to improve our bottom line, while making significantly better informed decisions about our retail operations," VPS Convenience Store Group stated.
