Walmart Reveals Details on Grocery Pickup Rollout
BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Walmart will expand the rollout of its free Walmart Pickup Grocery to several markets outside of its home state, the retailer announced Tuesday.
Stores that will offer the program are located in:
- Atlanta
- Charlotte and Fayetteville, N.C.
- Salt Lake City and Ogden, Utah
- Nashville, Tenn.
- Tucson, Ariz.
- Colorado Springs, Colo.
Customers in these markets will be able to create grocery lists online, choose a pickup time and then pull in to a designated parking area at the store where employees will load the order into their car. No extra fees will apply.
Walmart Pickup Grocery will become available at the selected stores in the coming weeks, the company said. Walmart also plans to add stores in more markets to its list of pickup locations.
The retailer announced that it would expand the program earlier in September, as CSNews Online previously reported.
