Wawa Adding Lotto Machines to Florida Stores
ORLANDO, Fla. – Wawa Inc. is adding Florida Lottery vending machines to its central Florida convenience stores starting Thursday morning, according to an Orlando Sentinel report.
The first store to offer one of these self-service machines is a new Wawa located at 14548 E. Colonial Drive in east Orlando. The machines offer tickets for the Florida Lotto, PowerBall and Mega Millions, among other games.
Wawa plans to add the machines to all 59 of its Florida stores in the Orlando and Tampa regions, some of which are still under construction.
This move marks the second stage of Wawa adding self-service lottery ticket machines to its locations. The convenience store chain began rolling them out at New Jersey locations in November 2013, as CSNews Online previously reported.
Wawa operates more than 630 convenience stores in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and Florida.
