Wawa Arrives in South Florida With a Triple Grand Opening

PALM SPRINGS, Fla. — As spring training winds down in Florida, Wawa Inc. is gearing up for its own triple play on March 23.

The convenience retailer is holding grand opening celebrations for three stores in south Florida on Thursday: two in Palm Springs and one in Riviera Beach. The three are the first Wawa's to welcome customers in Palm Beach County.

According to the retailer's website, the stores are located:

  • 3950 S Congress Ave. in Palm Springs; ribbon cutting at 10 a.m.
  • 1771 S Congress Ave. in Palm Springs; ribbon cutting at 12:30 p.m.
  • 7289 Garden Road in Riviera Beach; ribbon cutting at 3 p.m.

The doors will open at 8 a.m.

Pennsylvania-based Wawa operates more than 730 convenience stores, with more than 500 offering gas, in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and Florida.
