Wawa Puts Its Name on Water
WAWA, Pa. -- Wawa Inc., which operates 545 convenience stores in Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, introduced Wawa-brand spring water in stores this week. Wawa developed its own bottled water to complement its portfolio of proprietary products, including coffee and cold beverages, milk, ice cream and built-to-order hoagies.
“Bottled water will reinforce our 100-year heritage of bringing quality beverages to our customers,” said Rob Price, chief marketing officer for Wawa.
The spring water will be available in stores in half-liter, 1-liter and 1.5-liter flat caps, 24-ounce sport caps, half-liter flat cap six-packs, and 1-gallon and 2.5-gallon sizes. In addition, half-pint and half-liter flat cap sizes will be available through Wawa's wholesale division.
