WebMiles and iDine Serve Up Tasty Deal

The WebMiles program, which allows consumers to redeem WebMiles rewards for benefits such as airline tickets and gift certificates, now allows members to receive 5 airline miles per dollar spent when dining at any of the more than 7,500 participating restaurants nationwide.

As part of the program, members must register an existing credit card with the WebMiles Dining
Program and use that credit card to pay for the meal. WebMiles members can activate up to three of their major credit cards at www.webmiles.com and automatically earn miles for purchases made on registered cards at participating restaurants.

"Our members asked us for a way to earn miles at restaurants, and this agreement with Transmedia will allow WebMiles members to earn miles at over 7,500 restaurants nationwide," said Jeff Crapo, WebMiles co-founder. "This program is further proof that WebMiles continues to provide its members with great everyday earning opportunities to collect more miles so they can fly sooner."

The WebMiles Dining Program uses Transmedia's proprietary registered card technology to track member earnings in the dining program and award miles to member accounts. Transmedia currently has nearly six million members in its dining rewards programs, either branded under the name iDine or provided through private-label partnerships.

"This partnership further strengthens our dining rewards network that brings together six million dining enthusiasts with more than 7,500 restaurants nationwide," said Gene Henderson, president and CEO of Transmedia.
