Willie's Place at Carl's Corner to Receive Tech Overhaul

DALLAS -- Willie's Place at Carl's Corner selected Blue Wireless & Data Inc. to be its exclusive technology and information technology (IT) service provider.

Currently in the final stages of construction, Willie's Place will welcome truckers and tourists alike. Featuring a saloon, restaurant, theater and full-service convenience store, certain fuels offered will contain some level of biofuels.

"We are excited to be working with Blue Wireless & Data in the re-opening of Willie's Place. All travelers, whether they are cross-country truckers or weekend family vacationers, will want to stop for the food, service and state-of-the-art technology on hand," Robert Strouse, CFO of Willie's Place, said in a released statement.

Offering a full range of IT services, including bandwidth, wireless Internet access, VoIP telephone and IT relocation services, Blue Wireless & Data will help make Willie's Place at Carl's Corner a trucker's oasis located approximately 70 miles south of Dallas on Interstate 35, the company stated.

"Working with Willie's Place provides a great opportunity for Blue Wireless & Data. This project will serve as a flagship for the full range of services offered by our company," Blue Wireless & Data CEO and President Trey Berndt said in a released statement.

Blue Wireless & Data will provide comprehensive, cutting edge technology services to the theater in Willie's Place, which will accommodate approximately 800 people and serve as a venue for regional and world-class entertainers. Plans include live video streaming for all concerts and events to the Internet and special event LED monitors. Berndt explained that Blue Wireless & Data will also provide remote fuel price signs, restricted access security cards and an area-wide sound system to make sure everyone can experience the entertainment from any location on the property.

"From IT services for the management office, to the live streaming concerts and high-end bandwidth services -- everything is on display," Berndt said in a released statement.
