Zevia Debuts New Can Design and Five New Flavors
LOS ANGELES -- Zevia added new flavors and a new can design to its line of all-natural zero-calorie sodas, the company said today. Grape, Mountain Zevia, Grapefruit Citrus, Caffeine Free Cola and Cream Soda come in bold-colored cans to match each flavor and are Kosher, vegan and gluten-free, reported the company.
"We are excited to share Zevia's new flavors with consumers who are looking for a great-tasting, all-natural alternative to sodas laden with sugar or artificial sweeteners," said Paddy Spence, CEO. "Our products offer great taste, familiar flavors and accessible price points, all naturally sweetened with zero calories. We believe Zevia is the future of the soda aisle and that we can make a meaningful contribution to improving the health of soda drinkers worldwide."
Zevia is intended as an alternative choice for consumers who want soda and diet soda without sugar, calories or artificial sweeteners, reported the company. It uses stevia, a calorie-free South American plant that does not change blood glucose levels, as a natural sweetener.
Existing Zevia flavors include Cola, Ginger Root Beer, Dr. Zevia, Black Cherry, Ginger Ale, Lemon Lime Twist and Orange. The company will feature the new flavors and cans this month at Natural Products Expo West. They go on sale at Whole Foods this month and nationwide in May.
