7-Eleven Continues to Prove It's Got Game
IRVING, Texas — 7-Eleven Inc. teamed up with Red Bull to hold the exclusive "7-Eleven Xbox Rewards" sweepstakes.
From Nov. 9 through Jan. 2, members of the convenience store chain's 7Rewards loyalty program could have entered up to 10 times daily by purchasing two 12-ounce cans of Red Bull.
Game-themed prizes included: 20 Xbox One consoles; 100 Xbox Design Lab controllers; and 1,000 Xbox Live Gold memberships. All sweepstakes participants received an Xbox avatar for participating.
7-Eleven supported the sweepstakes with window clings and cooler signs positioned adjacent to coolers stocking Red Bull, as well as a mobile ad and web page within 7-Eleven's app support.
The retailer also tapped into the enthusiasm of fans of the game Titanfall 2, released in October 2016, by offering 7Rewards members an exclusive in-game avatar or theme with the purchase of any two Doritos or Mountain Dew SKUs from Nov. 9 through Jan. 3.
Irving-based 7-Eleven Inc. operates, franchises and licenses more than 10,700 7-Eleven stores in North America.
