7-Eleven Hits the Road to Launch Doritos Loaded

DALLAS – 7-Eleven Inc. is promoting its new Doritos Loaded snacks by offering free samples at two Dallas locations this week. Other sampling events are planned in advance of the product's national rollout in early July, the Dallas Morning News reported.

On Tuesday, consumers can visit the 7-Eleven store at 1010 Ross Ave. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or the store located at 3716 Maple Ave. from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. A food truck will hand out the samples while supplies last.

Doritos Loaded consists of warm melted cheese coated in crunchy seasoning. A box of four pieces contains 350 calories and will sell for $1.99.

The research and development team for Doritos manufacturer Frito-Lay created the new snack. Reports of 7-Eleven stores testing Doritos Loaded first surfaced last February.

Customers can visit www.7-eleven.com/doritosloaded to see where other sampling events will take place.
