7-Eleven Rolls Out AQUISS Beverage
DALLAS -- In October, 450 7-Eleven stores from Bakersfield, Calif., to the Oregon border will roll out AQUISS, a performance/vitality beverage made by an affiliate of Phlo Corp., located in Jacksonville, Fla., the manufacturer reported.
The rollout will include an aggressive sampling campaign to increase awareness among 7-Eleven customers, using the technology and assets of AQUISS, the company stated.
"We are all very excited about this major 7-Eleven development so early in the distribution process, as its puts AQUISS on the map," James B. Hovis, CEO of Phlo Corp., said in a statement. "This should have a major impact on the revenue of the company shortly and over the long term."
AQUISS was recently purchased by Palo Alto Egg Co., a customer of Bon Appetit, a food and beverage provider for companies such as Google, Yahoo and Intel, the company said.
