AAFES Teams With Manufacturers on Sweet Promos
DALLAS -- The Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) is teaming up with two different candy manufacturers to give a few lucky customers a sweet surprise.
Through a partnership with Lindt Chocolates, military shoppers can enter to win either a Volkswagon Jetta, valued at $15,000, or $15,000 in cash. The Lindt Chocolate Sweepstakes is open from March 7 to April 17.
"With this sweepstakes, the Exchange is putting a lucky winner in the driver's seat," said Col. Tom Ockenfels, the Exchange chief of staff. "What's more, the winner will enjoy the peace of mind that comes with owning a brand-new car."
AAFES also partnered with Just Born Inc. to offer the chance to win one of 20 Exchange gift cards worth $1,000 in an "eggciting" sweepstakes.
"The Exchange is excited to partner with Just Born to give away $20,000 to service members and their families," said the Exchange's Chief of Staff Col. Tom Ockenfels. "This is just another way the Exchange can say 'thank you' to our troops."
From now through April 20, shoppers can enter the Peeps Just Born Sweepstakes by filling out and dropping off an entry form at any Exchange store.
For both sweepstakes, shoppers must be 18 or older with a valid driver's license. The Lindt Chocolate Sweepstakes drawing will be held on or about May 15, while the Peeps Just Born Sweepstakes drawing will be held on or about June 2.
