BP, Shell, Speedway Recognized for Customer Service
FINDLAY, Ohio -- Speedway, BP and Shell were named retail leaders in delivering superb customer service, according to the second-quarter results of Corporate Research International's RealPeopleRatings.com survey.
The latest quarterly survey polled 1,389 panelists. Respondents were asked to rate their perception of each business' customer service on a scale of one to 10, with 10 being the highest rating, explained Michael Mallett, CEO of Corporate Research, a market research firm specializing in mystery shopping and customer satisfaction surveys. If a respondent did not have experience with the business, the panelist did not enter a score for that establishment.
"Companies with consistently high ratings are focused on all customer touch points," Mallett said in a released statement. "Every interaction customers have with a business impacts overall perception, so an ongoing effort to maintain all areas keeps scores high."
Other winners included Subway, Sonic, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Papa John's and Kroger.
