C-stores Get Exclusive Chex Mix Promotion
General Mills and Hollywood Video are teaming up for an exclusive convenience store promotion on more than 3 million specially marked packages of Chex Mix.
Starting this month, c-store customers who purchase a specially marked 3.75-ounce bag of Chex Mix in Traditional, Cheddar or Bold varieties will receive a “rent one, get one free” movie or video game rental coupon from Hollywood Video. With more than 4,500 stores nationwide, Hollywood Video offers one of the largest movie selections in the video rental industry.
Market research shows Chex Mix consumers have a strong interest in video games and movies. By leveraging its relationship with Hollywood Video, General Mills brings convenience stores a unique promotion that is on target with consumers, the company said.
