Chester's Flies South Again

PERRY, Fla. -- Chester’s is celebrating the grand opening of its newest location in the Sunshine State at the Waco Food Store, operated by Ware Oil, located at 3936 S. Byron Butler Parkway here. The ribbon-cutting ceremony took place Friday.

"We are excited about bringing Chester's to our Waco Food Store in Perry," Doug Everett, general manager of Ware Oil, said in a statement. "Chester's great tasting fried chicken will be a great addition to our location and we look forward to serving North Florida."

The Waco Food Store in Perry offers Chester’s signature menu options including fried bone-in chicken, chicken tenders, potato wedges and biscuits for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The newest Chester’s location also offers both dine-in and carry-out options.

"I'm always excited every time we open a new Chester's," stated Rick Davis, vice president of systems management at Chester’s. "The people at the Waco Food Store in Perry are great to work with and are going to do a great job at promoting Chester's."

Chester’s is a quick-service restaurant concept with more than 1,500 Chester Fried licensed and Chester’s franchised locations. Chester’s only uses chicken that is specially marinated and double-breaded using a proprietary family recipe.
