Chex Mix Spicy Varieties
Two new flavors of the snack mix amp up the heat.
Chex Mix introduces two new varieties — Jalapeno Cheddar and Hot & Spicy — that were developed to capitalize on the "spicy adventure" trend. "Spicy adventure" is the third-largest and fastest-growing category in convenience store salty snacks, according to Chex Mix maker General Mills Convenience. Amping up the heat, Chex Mix Jalapeno Cheddar delivers a hotter, cheesier flavor, while Chex Mix Hot & Spicy is "really freaking hot," the company said. Both varieties come in 3.75-ounce packaging for a suggested retail price of $1.69.
