Coca-Cola Celebrates NHL Champs With Special Cans
CHICAGO — The Coca-Cola Co. celebrates the Chicago Blackhawks' after their hometown Stanley Cup win Monday night with the release of Blackhawks-themed, limited-edition six-packs of Coca-Cola and Coke Zero in the Chicago area.
National Hockey League and Blackhawks fans can pick up the special 12-ounce cans, which feature the Blackhawks logo and salute the hockey team for its outstanding 2014-2015 season.
“We are proud to make it possible for Blackhawk fans to pick up a special limited edition six-pack in stores throughout Chicago,” said Luke Emery, General Manager of Great Lakes Coca-Cola Distribution LLC. “What better way to pay tribute to our hometown champs than by helping them share an ice-cold Coca-Cola with their friends and family?”
Coca-Cola congratulates the Chicago Blackhawks on this historic moment and "joins the team’s countless fans in their much-deserved victory celebration,” added Eris Crosswhite, Manager of the Coca-Cola Production Center in Niles, Ill.
The cans will be available beginning this week, while supplies last.
