Craft Beer Exchange Brewing at More APlus Stores

PHILADELPHIA -- Craft beer is proving popular for Sunoco. So popular that the company is expanding the sales of craft beer to more APlus convenience stores in upstate New York.

Sunoco launched the Craft Beer Exchange at 12 locations in the Buffalo area this summer. Now, based on the results of the pilot program, the company is bringing its craft beer initiative to eight more locations in the Rochester and Buffalo markets, according to a company release.

Now consumers in Monroe, Ontario and Yates counties in western New York and Tompkins and Cortland counties in central New York, will be able to purchase craft beers sold in growlers on up to 12 taps as well as pre-packaged bottles and cans. Two additional APlus convenience stores in Buffalo will also add the Craft Beer Exchange.

"Customers appreciate having convenient access to high-quality craft beers at affordable prices," said Wendy Lyman, Sunoco's beverage manager.

The Craft Beer Exchange offers consumers a selection of up to 12 rotating craft beers available to-go in our 64-ounce glass growlers. Consumers can also create their own six packs from our selection of 12-ounce single bottles for $9.99. Selections change seasonally and include craft beers from microbreweries such as Long Trail, Victory, Flying Bison, Troegs and Brooklyn.
