CSNews Extends 'Best Places to Work' Entry Period
JERSEY CITY, N.J. – Convenience Store News, in partnership with the Best Companies Group, has extended the entry deadline for the "Best Places to Work in C-store Retailing" competition.
The goal of this inaugural awards program is to identify and recognize those great places to work in the c-store industry that strive to create and build even better workplaces for their employees.
Entries are now being accepted through Friday, July 11. Both publicly and privately held retailer companies that operate, franchise or license at least 10 full-line convenience stores are eligible to participate in this unique nationwide competition.
To enter, both employers and employees will be asked to complete user-friendly surveys online. A confidential paper survey option is available for a small fee.
Retailer organizations will compete in categories based on the number of full-line convenience stores they operate within North America. Category sizes are:
- Small: 10-99 stores
- Medium: 100-499 stores
- Large: 500 or more stores
The Best Companies Group will conduct the selection process based on an assessment of the employer's policies and procedures, combined with the results of a 66-question employee engagement and satisfaction survey. Companies will be able to purchase an in-depth Employee Feedback Report following the program, which can help them develop and implement the strategic steps necessary to create a great workplace and continue improving the performance of their business.
This prestigious award is sure to help winning companies increase the quality of their job applicants, heighten company pride, give them the ability to benchmark their company with their peers, and provide them with great public relations and marketing advantages.
Registration can be completed at http://bestplacestoworkcsn.com.
An editorial feature on the winners will appear in the November issue of Convenience Store News and on the CSNews.com website.
