Dunkin’ Donuts Adds to Chocolate Donut Line Up

CANTON, Mass. -- Keeping in line with Chocolate Lover’s Month, locally headquartered Dunkin’ Donuts is rolling out a new line of yeast-raised chocolate donuts. The new offering is a cross between its chocolate cake donuts and its yeast-raised donuts, like Glazed and Boston Kreme.

Several varieties of the chocolate donuts will be available at all Dunkin’ Donuts locations through the end of February. The offerings include Cocoa Confetti, Reverse Boston Kreme and Cocoa Kreme Puff.

"After several years of developing and testing, we are delighted to have created a yeast version of our popular chocolate donuts," said Dunkin’ Brands executive chef Stan Frankenthaler. "We know our guests will enjoy this unique donut in all its varieties as the perfect treat to keep people running with a delicious taste of chocolate."

Dunkin’ Donuts has also added a Chocolate Chip Bagel Twist to its Bagel Twists menu. In addition, the company is bringing back some favorite chocolate items: the Triple Chocolate Muffin, Mocha Coffee and Mocha Swirl Lattes.
