ExxonMobil Chemical Presents Packaging Awards

HOUSTON -- The Films Business of ExxonMobil Chemical Co., a subsidiary of ExxonMobil Corp., gave its prestigious Pyramid Awards and Golden Mummy Awards for innovations in packaging and labeling to four products this year: Apple & Eve Juices, Florida's Natural Juices, Tootsie Roll Midgees and Office Max Paper Ream Wrap.

“Once again, we're bringing the industry's best and brightest together to celebrate packaging and labeling innovations,” said Jim Ashmore, Americas, sales and marketing manager, ExxonMobil Chemical. “We've done this for 18 years and the quality of entries continues to impress me.”

“Being selected as one of this year's winners of the ExxonMobil award is a major honor for Apple & Eve, and we're pleased to have received this industry recognition for excellence in label design for our new rectangular bottles,” said Jeff Damiano, director of marketing and new product development for Port Washington, N.Y.-based Apple & Eve. “When redesigning our 64-ounce bottles to make them more consumer and retailer friendly, we also wanted to make sure that we chose the best quality film to give our package a premium look, and are happy that our finished product has been honored within the packaging industry.”

Last year's winners of the Golden Mummy and Pyramid Awards included Kraft Food, Hershey Foods, The Coca Cola Company and McNeil Consumer and Specialty Pharmaceuticals.
