General Mills Launches Web Site to Assist C-Store Retailers
MINNEAPOLIS -- With a firm understanding that retailing is a two-way street, General Mills launched a new online resource geared toward assisting convenience store retailers with business building solutions, the company reported.
The Web site (www.generalmillscstore.com) will provide retailers with innovative marketing tools and applications aimed at increasing sales. "Profitability is central to the success of the convenience store retailer's business," Jared Johnson, associate channel manager, General Mills
Convenient Solutions Team, said in a released statement.
Participating retailers can access promotional offers, specific product offers and nutritional facts from the Web site. Features include a Master Your Business section where retailers can access category management information on salty snacks, bar snacks and cereal. The Marketing/Sales Support section provides information on point-of-sale displays and literature on innovative new products, explained Johnson.
"We're providing the recipe for success in today's competitive business environment by sharing category management expertise and marketing know-how with convenience store retailers," Johnson said in a released statement.
