Hispanic Retail 360 Expo Advances Education on the Latino Shopper

NEW YORK -- A former executive with 7-Eleven of Mexico and author of the book, Beyond Bodegas: Developing a Retail Relationship with Hispanic Customers, will be the keynote speaker at the inaugural Hispanic Retail 360 Conference & Expo, being held in Dallas on Sept. 26-27.

Jim Perkins, who also worked for ExxonMobil Corp. and currently runs his own consulting business, ULATAM Solutions Group, a firm that helps organizations build Hispanic retail offerings in their stores, will kick off the conference with a presentation on “Leveraging Your Retail Environment to Reach the Hispanic Consumer.”

Hispanic Retail 360 promises to be the premier educational and sourcing event for retailers as they struggle with how best to address the Hispanic market growth opportunity. The conference, produced by VNU Business Media, parent of Convenience Store News, will also feature presentations from VNU's market information companies -- ACNielsen, Spectra, Claritas, Scarborough and Nielsen Media Research -- along with the retail industry's leading experts on connecting with this complex, but fast-growing market.
