Home Service Oil Reimaging Sites to VP Fuels Brand

BARNHART, Mo. and SAN ANTONIO — VP Racing Fuels Inc. has found a new partner in Home Service Oil. The wholesale fuel distributor is the newest partner in VP’s national retail branding program.

"We operate in an area with some strong major brands and super independents so we’ve been looking at 'unbranded' programs in hopes of becoming more competitive," said Zach Mangelsdorf, sales manager for Home Service Oil. "VP Racing Fuels offered the most compelling package including an attractive image at a relatively low cost, the opportunity to save 8 cents to 12 cents per gallon with unbranded supply, and new profit centers driven by VP-branded products."

Home Service is in the process of reimaging its first site with the VP brand in Piedmont, Mo., and anticipates having four more sites converted by the end of 2017.

"We plan to offer VP’s complete product line in each store including its VP Madditive performance chemicals, VP Small Engine Fuels and most notably, VP’s off-road race fuel blends. These all represent new profit centers that will attract new customers we wouldn't otherwise capture, customers who will drive out of their way to find them," added Mangelsdorf. 

San Antonio-based VP Racing Fuels' retail branding program enables gas stations and convenience stores to reduce their credit card processing expenses and lower their cost of supply as well as increase revenues with new profit centers built on VP-branded products, all while gaining more control over their business, according to the company.

Headquartered in Barnhart, Home Service owns and operates nine Express Mart convenience stores and supplies 60 other retail sites across Missouri, Arkansas and Illinois.
