Kwik Trip Adding New Features to Milwaukee Brewers Partnership

LA CROSSE, Wis. — Convenience store chain Kwik Trip Inc. and the Milwaukee Brewers baseball team entered into a multi-year expansion of their existing partnership, which was established in 2011, reported CBS 58 Milwaukee.  

"The partnership between the Brewers and Kwik Trip has steadily grown over the last seven years, and we are excited to bring some significant new promotional elements into the mix for 2017," Milwaukee Brewers Chief Operating Officer Rick Schlesinger said. "We appreciate the support of Kwik Trip and look forward to enhancing their brand presence at Miller Park and beyond."

New elements making their debut in 2017 will include: 

• Sponsorship of Bernie Brewer's slide, including Kwik Trip branding on Bernie’s dugout and landing area; 
• "Bernie's Slide Experience" contests, in which winners will have an opportunity to go down Bernie's slide; and 
• "Kwik Trip to the Mound" scoreboard feature, which will occur during certain trips to the mound by managers and pitching coaches.

Digital aspects of the partnership include the promotion of Kwik Trip sponsorship elements on Brewers.com and the team’s social media channels, along with promotion of the Brewers sponsorship on Kwik Trip’s website and social media channels.

Kwik Trip will also continue to sponsor the Brewers Baseball Academy, a weeklong baseball/softball camp held at 13 locations across Wisconsin. As presenting sponsor, Kwik Trip has annually awarded 240 participants with $25 gift cards, and one camper from each host city with a personalized camp jersey and a special presentation during the camp graduation ceremony, the news outlet reported.

Kwik Trip remains a sponsor of the Kids Baseball Clinic event at Miller Park, home to the Milwaukee Brewers, and "Kwik Trip Family of the Game" sweepstakes, as well.

"Bernie’s slide is an iconic focal point at Miller Park, and we look forward to providing Brewers fans with an opportunity to win tickets and a chance to experience Bernie’s slide firsthand throughout the season."
