Love's Opens First IHOP Franchise Location

SIDNEY, Neb. — The first Love’s Travel Stops-franchised IHOP Express restaurant is now open for business, bringing breakfast all day, every day to Sidney.

Located along Interstate 80, Exit 59, IHOP Express is a convenient way for guests to enjoy IHOP signature food and beverages when visiting a local IHOP restaurant isn’t an option, Love’s said in a news release. Guests can enjoy made-to-order breakfast, lunch and dinner options.

“The opening of the Sidney location marks Love’s first travel stop with an IHOP Express,” said Greg Love, co-CEO of Love’s Travel Stops. “We’re proud to partner with the leading family restaurant brand to provide service to a new part of Nebraska. We constantly examine how we can expand dining offerings to our customers and we believe the IHOP Express model, which offers the most popular IHOP food and drink choices, will meet the needs of our on-the-go customers.”

The travel stop and IHOP Express will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. IHOP Express guests order food from the convenience of a service counter with food delivered by a team member to the dining area.

In addition to the IHOP Express, the Sidney Love’s features seven showers, 88 truck parking spaces, a Love’s Truck Tire Care center, CAT scales, RFID cardless fueling, as well as gourmet coffee, fresh fruit, gift merchandise, name-brand electronics and more. A 68-room Comfort Inn & Suites will open adjacent to the travel stop in late 2016, the company said. Professional drivers with a valid commercial driver’s license will be eligible for discounted room rates.

Oklahoma City-based Love’s operates more than 370 travel center locations in 40 states.
