M&M’S Launching 'Better With M' Marketing Campaign

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. -- Mars Chocolate North America wants to show that life is "Better With M." The company today announced the new M&M’S brand marketing campaign, which will debut in a 30-second television commercial during the first quarter of Super Bowl XLVII.

The campaign focuses on how M&M’S makes everyday moments fun and delicious, and features the brand's colorful spokescandies.

"'Better with M' represents one of the largest marketing efforts in M&M’S history," said Roy Benin, Mars Chocolate's chief consumer officer. "We're very confident our full range of communications and activities will excite consumers from the Super Bowl all the way through next winter's holiday season."

In addition to the Super Bowl ad created by BBDO New York, the "Better With M" campaign will include multiple English and Spanish television, print and digital ads, as well as in-store displays, consumer promotions and social media initiatives on Facebook and Twitter at #betterwithmms.

According to the company, a cornerstone of this campaign is its cause-related marketing effort to make "America Better With M" by funding construction for Habitat for Humanity homes across the nation. M&M’S encourages its fans to help "M-Prove America" by volunteering at Habitat sites nationwide.

The first television ad of the new campaign premieres today and stars the sweet and sassy Ms. Brown.
