Pringles Brand Officially Joins Kellogg’s Portfolio

ELMURST, Ill. -- The Pringles potato chip brand is now officially part of Kellogg's portfolio, the company's Convenience Team recently announced. The acquisition of Pringles from Procter & Gamble for $2.695 billion was officially completed in June 2012.

"We are thrilled to bring all the Pringles flavors and sizes onboard for our retailers and their consumers," stated Kim Belson, senior customer marketing manager, convenience.

Kellogg's Convenience Team generated new UPC and order codes to ensure ease of ordering and avoid delivery disruption. Retailers can find them at www.KelloggsConvenience.com.

"We are working hard to make the transition seamless," said Kerry Stone, business unit manager, Pringles. "We are committed to supporting and accelerating the strong growth of Pringles in the convenience channel."

Pringles joins Special K chips, Cheez-It Duoz baked crackers and Cheez-It baked snack mixes and crackers in the Kellogg's salty snack product family. "Along with the new UPC and order codes, retailers should expect to see impactful promotions, ongoing communication and continued product innovations," Belson said.

According to Kellogg Co., its acquisition of Pringles makes it the second-largest savory snacks company worldwide.
