QuikTrip Named One of Phoenix’s Best Places to Work

PHOENIX -- QuikTrip was honored by the Phoenix Business Journal at an awards ceremony yesterday for the newspaper's annual list of the Best Places to Work in the city. The Tulsa, Okla.-based convenience store chain won in the extra large category that included businesses with 1,000 or more employees.

Winners were selected based on surveys filled out by company employees. The Best Companies frequently offer more than standard benefits and work to encourage morale, team-building and cohesive staffs, according to the Journal.

Other businesses that were honored at the event included: d.b.a. Media Group LLC in the micro category (10 to 49 employees); Aerotek in the small category (50 to 99 employees); Gallagher & Kennedy PA in the medium category (100 to 249 employees); and Quicken Loans in the large category (250 to 999 employees).

This isn't the first time QuikTrip has been honored as a quality employer. According to the company’s website, the c-store retailer has been recognized as one of Fortune magazine's 100 best companies to work for since 2003.
