Shell Awards Five-Year Contracts to Pointsmith

HOUSTON -- Pointsmith has signed a five-year renewal contract with Shell Oil Products U.S., as well as a new five-year contract with Shell Canada, to develop point-of-purchase signage for Shell-branded stations in both countries, the supplier announced.

Pointsmith said it will serve as the below-the-line (BTL) and in-store agency for the two Shell units. The company has provided long-term cost savings solutions for point-of-purchase promotional programs to U.S. Shell-branded stations since 2000, according to the announcement.

"These two five-year contracts were realized thanks to the hard work, dedication and professionalism of our employees," said Troy Smith, Pointsmith's CEO. "Shell works with many other alliances in their business units, so we are excited to now extend our relationship with Shell into Canada."

In both 2008 and 2009, Pointsmith won Shell's "Retail Vendor of the Year" award. Shell also recently named Pointsmith one of its "Top U.S. Contracts."
