Stripes Hosts NASCAR Celebrations to Welcome Sunoco Fuel
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Stripes Convenience Stores is welcoming Sunoco fuel, the official fuel of NASCAR, to the Midland/Odessa, Texas, area by hosting five "Neighborhood and Community NASCAR Celebrations."
The local community is invited to join Stripes team members at the following places and times:
- Wednesday, June 24, from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m.: 3200 E. Highway 158/Garden City Highway, Midland
- Wednesday, June 24, from 2-5 p.m.: 2411 Rankin Highway/I-20, Midland
- Thursday, June 25, from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m.: 4508 North Big Spring/Loop 250, Midland
- Thursday, June 25, from 2-5 p.m.: 3201 E. Highway 158/Garden City Highway, Midland
- Friday, June 26, from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.: 1350 S. County Road West/I-20, Odessa
Each event will include special appearances by NASCAR Show Car #88 and the Stripes mascot. Customers will have the chance to win a $25 Stripes gift card, play games and sample food from Laredo Taco Co.
Former Dallas Cowboys player Larry Brown will make three appearances, at the Rankin Highway, North Big Spring and East Highway 158 events.
These 6,000-square-foot Stripes locations will now offer Sunoco fuel, as well as a dining area that seats 20; a beer "super cooler" that is set to cool below 32 degrees Fahrenheit; and "The Wall," a creative space where people can customize their beverages with more than 1.2 billion possible fountain combinations.
Stripes Convenience Stores operates more than 675 stores in Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma, including more than 600 under the Stripes banner and 44 under the Sac-N-Pac banner. It is a division of Energy Transfer Partners LP.
