Stripes Welcomes Sunoco Fuel to Central Texas

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Stripes Convenience Stores will host five neighborhood NASCAR celebrations this week to welcome the arrival of Sunoco fuel, the official fuel of NASCAR, to the Waco, Temple and Killeen, Texas, area.

The entire community is invited to attend the events at these locations:

  • Dec. 15, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. — 2210 E. Stan Schlueter Loop, Killeen, Texas
  • Dec. 16, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. — 1801 S. New Road, Waco, Texas
  • Dec. 17, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. — 2500 Franklin Ave., Waco, Texas
  • Dec. 17, 3 p.m.-6 p.m. — 514 Sun Valley Blvd., Hewitt, Texas
  • Dec. 18, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. — 6511 State Highway 317, Temple, Texas

These locations now offer Sunoco fuel in unleaded, super unleaded and diesel. The 7,000-square-foot stores also feature a dining area that seats 30; a beer super cooler, which is set to cool below 32 degrees Fahrenheit; and "The Wall," a creative space for customers to customize their cool with more than 2.1 billion possible fountain combinations.

Each celebration will include special appearances by NASCAR Show Car #24 and Stripes mascots. Customers will have the chance to win a $25 Stripes gift card, play games and sample food from Stripes' Laredo Taco Co.

Stripes operates more than 700 c-stores in Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma, with restaurants available in more than 440 stores.
