Sweet Deal
AUSTIN, Texas -- Exxon Mobil Inc. reached a deal with Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Inc. to add pastry kiosks to 21 Exxon Tigermarkets in the Austin, Texas market.
The program, brokered by Glazing Saddles Ltd., the Austin-area Krispy Kreme franchise, kicked off today at Tigermarket c-stores.
"Our customers are going to be very excited to find Krispy Kreme doughnuts in our stores," said John Quinn, merchandising specialist for the Austin-area Tigermarkets. "Being the exclusive convenience store retailer for Krispy Kreme Doughnuts gives our customers another reason to start their day at their local Exxon Tigermarket."
To kick off the program, Tigermarkets are offering customers a Krispy Kreme doughnut, a local newspaper and a large coffee for $1.99. This promotion will run from June 17 through July 31. In addition, Tigermarket store managers will take orders from their customers for next-day doughnut pick-up at Tigermarket stores.
